Clinical Education Specialist

Our client company is a leading provider in emergency department EMR systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the optimization in the delivery of care in leading healthcare organizations throughout the country. No need to relocate, must be able to travel 75%.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project team to conduct training needs analysis course evaluations, assessing range of knowledge prior to training.
  • Assess a client’s current state of workflow determine future state workflow, customizing a training plan to support operational efficiency.
  • Deliver software training provide on-site or remote clinical support during Go-live post Go-live.
  • Contribute to the development or updating of clinically relevant technical documents, training material, job aids training tools
  • Incorporate motivating, creative interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience, maximize learning, retention transfer.
  • Support the development of e-learning solutions by contributing to storyboard development, editing scripts reviewing modules prior to publishing.
  • Assess how well client’s are absorbing material during training adjust accordingly, follow-up provide additional training when necessary.
  • Deliver webinars presentations, assist with conferences.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of previous Emergency Department experience, current licensed RN preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience delivering technical or clinical training or presentations.
  • Excellent verbal written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information into succinct learning points.
  • Collaboration flexibility to work with both internal external work teams, including all levels of personnel.
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter with the ability to have a flexible schedule.
  • Basic computer skills are required (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills required with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Must be able to travel 75%.
