Sr. IT Infrastructure Consultant – Ann Arbor, MI

The Role

In partnership with team members, the Infrastructure Analysis Consultant works with everyone from the “C-level” to front-line IT staff on projects that help to analyze the infrastructure, develop recommendations, and carry out upgrades on a wide range of technical projects. Ultimately, we will rely on you to deliver projects on time, on budget and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Minimum Requirements and Desired Qualifications

Must have led the design and implementation of large-scale IT systems

Proficiency in latest technology for IT systems and management including SANs and VMWare

Experience with network design & management, including WAN, LAN, and remote access

Experience deploying phone systems (VOIP or analog) across various connections (SIP trunk, PRI, PBX )

Experience with network security including firewall, proxy, DMZ, and encryption to meet HIPAA standards

Proficiency in routing, switching, tunneling, with Cisco experience a plus

Experience with Windows 2003 and newer, Terminal Services, Citrix, and Load Balancing

Proficiency in continuity of operations during disaster recovery or other emergencies

Experience with video conferencing configurations and network prioritization

Self motivated with strong problem solving capabilities and strong writing, communication and analytic skills

Must be comfortable working in a team environment from a virtual office

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to quickly synthesize disparate ideas

Willing to travel (usually 30%, up to 50%)

Bachelor’s of Science or Bachelor’s of Science and Engineering
